HELP OUR CAUSE

The goal of Trail of Honor Flags Inc. is simple: honor all Veterans, their families and the people who love them—365 days a year. In order to do this, we have to build a permanent Trail of Honor Flags. At this time, through the use of volunteers, we are able to put up over 300 flags along Hwy 62 and Wiley Road on the route to the Fort Gibson National Cemetery just five times a year: Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day and Veterans Day. Our vision is to see two Garrison flags—one on the corner of Lee Street and one on the corner of Wiley Road—along Hwy 62.

In between, we want to honor special groups such as the Blue Star Mothers, Gold Star Mothers, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and EMS Personnel, Prisoners of War, those Missing in Action. We need a sidewalk for people to stroll through the memorials, and a sidewalk up Wiley Road, too, where flags line both sides all the way to the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. We need permanent structures and poles to keep flags flying 365 days a year, around the clock.

Your support and contributions will someday enable us to build a permanent installation, which will allow us to continue providing the Trail of Honor Flags, not only on select holidays, but 365 days a year.
